Casablanca Advanced Methods in Computation and Information Science (CAMCIS) Certificate

CAMCIS is organized as an inter-academic collaboration between the Ecole Hassania Des Travaux Publics (EHTP) in Casablanca, Morocco, and the Faculty of Information (also called the iSchool), the University of Toronto. EHTP is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering schools in Morocco.  As part of its founding mission, which it continues to live by today, EHTP focuses on training engineers to take on civic and community-based projects with the aim of improving the day-to-day living conditions of Moroccan citizens.  The iSchool, at the University of Toronto, a 97-year institution, focuses on innovative scholarship at the intersection of information technologies, institutions, and information services. A particular focus of the Toronto iSchool is training next-generation experts and leaders, versatile in information management and dissemination, but with a strong orientation toward promoting growth, vibrancy, and resiliency at the individual and societal levels.

Advanced training for graduate students in engineering, medicine, computer science, information science, and health informatics. Focus is on technical skills and research in specialized domains. The learning will combine in-class engagements and hands-on work on advanced machine learning and data analytics methods. The goal is to bring diverse multidisciplinary expertise together to learn about critical areas in an applied and intensive setting.
